We offer weekly maid service and fresh towels twice per week, and also have pool towels, however we ask that you provide your own beach towels.  Although we do not offer laundry service for guests, there is a laundry directly across the street.

Casa de las Prismas has a water purification and softening system, however we will provide bottled water as needed.

We are within close walking distance of no less than seven excellent restaurants, including the newly opened Frascati Restorante which serves fabulous Italian food at moderate prices!  There are also two restaurants which have British menus, (one of which offers live music) at least two with North American food, including pizza, and countless local Mexican cafes.  Also, on the weekends, you might enjoy renowned 'street tacos' just a few blocks away.  In the evenings there is live music at Philo's which is also only 3 blocks away.  Many nights you'll meet people from all over the world!

The bus system in our adopted country is excellent.  The nearest bus stop is yet another short walk from Casa de las Prismas and you can be in Puerto Vallarta wining, dining, or partying the night away in approx. 40 minutes.

A must is a visit to Bucerias which is a 5 minute bus ride away.  And then, when you want to go to one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico, the bus will take you there in under 15 minutes.

If you are tired of high rise resorts, and are looking for an intimate Inn with all the comforts of home and more, then Casa de las Primas is the place for you.

C asa de las Prismas
is located in the quaint fishing village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle in the state of Nayarit, Mexico!
Within easy walking distance of a serene beach, we built our dream home, along with 2 apartments and a Casita which is 2 years old.


Each apartment is on the 2nd floor, has a separate entrance, and are fully equipped.


We've decorated with bright vibrant colors using interesting local artwork.


Our garden is strewn with exotic palms and lovely plants.


Feel like spending some time with a good book?  We have the perfect secluded spot for you.


How about lazing the day away in a hammock built for two?


Feel like doing laps or just floating?  Our heated pool is is waiting for you along with the heated jacuzzi.


Casa de las Prismas has an outdoor kitchen just off the pool area that boosts a BBQ, Fridge, seating area for 6, and a laptop.  A great place for a potluck gathering or just chatting with the other guests.


Although we do not offer telephone service, we do offer the use of a laptop that has wireless internet and encourage guests to bring their VOIP equipment which can be connected to our router.


When you stay at Casa de las Prismas, we provide pickup service from Puerto Vallarta Intl. Airport at no charge.
